This Privacy Policy describes how Nufrnd ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Lossless Video Cutter Mac application and the website at losslessvideocutter.com (together, the "Service").

Video and project data stay on your Mac

Lossless Video Cutter is designed to edit video on device. Your source files, segments, face references, transcripts, and exports are processed and stored locally on your Mac unless you choose to save or share them elsewhere.

We do not receive your video content, audio, transcripts, or project files through the app for routine editing features.

Information the Mac app sends to our servers

When you activate, validate, or release a Pro license, the app contacts our API and may send:

• A device identifier used to enforce activation limits
• Your device name (as shown in macOS)
• App version and bundle identifier
• License activation identifiers returned by our billing provider

This data is used to provide licensing, prevent abuse, and support your subscription. We retain activation records as long as needed for billing, fraud prevention, and support.

Website analytics and advertising attribution

On the public website (not in the Mac app), we use Google Analytics to understand traffic and improve the site. Google may collect device and usage information under its own policies.

If you arrive from an ad link, we may store Google Ads click identifiers (such as gclid) in first-party cookies for up to 90 days so we can measure conversions. You can limit analytics through browser settings, ad preferences, or blocking tools.

Checkout, billing, and refunds

Paid subscriptions are processed by Polar, our merchant of record. Payment card and billing details are collected and stored by Polar, not on our servers. See Polar's privacy policy for how they handle payment data.

If you submit a refund request on our site, we receive the email address and message you provide, plus a verification token from Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce spam.

If you contact us through our support form, we receive the email address and message you provide, plus a verification token from Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce spam.

How we use information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Process subscriptions, trials, and license activations
• Respond to support requests and refund inquiries
• Measure marketing performance and site usage
• Protect against fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• Comply with legal obligations

Sharing

We share information with service providers that help us run the Service, including Polar (billing), Cloudflare (hosting, Turnstile, and email sending), and Google (analytics). We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

We do not sell your personal information.

Retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, unless a longer period is required by law. Local app data remains on your Mac until you delete it or remove the app.

Your choices

• Manage subscription and billing details through the customer portal
• Delete local project and session data from the app or macOS storage settings
• Contact us to ask about access, correction, or deletion of account-related data we hold

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

International users

We operate from the United States. If you use the Service from another country, your information may be processed in the United States or where our providers operate.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
